A pleated (cellular) blind profile is an aluminium extrusion that forms the handle, track and guide components of honeycomb-structure pleated blinds. The honeycomb structure provides thermal insulation; the profiles form the folding and fixing mechanism of the blind.
Where are pleated blinds used?
Pleated blinds are used on roof windows, triangular and trapezoidal windows, conservatories and spaces where thermal insulation is required. The honeycomb structure provides heat insulation. Models that open from both top and bottom offer flexible use.
